Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Do I have to use the new importing process for courses that are NOT in the Moodle archive?
A: No. If you are teaching a class this semester and are teaching it again in the Spring, you can use the previous importing process. This tip-sheet provides instructions.
Q: In your instructions, in step 3, it says to un-check the box next to include enrolled users, but this isn't an option for me?
A: We were able to make it a default setting, so you no longer need to un-check this box! Instead, scroll to the bottom of the page and click next. (Also note that the instructions on the handout have been updated).
Q: When I get to the backup step, I get an error message. What do I do?
A: There are a number of causes to error messages. Try completing the process again, and if you receive the error a 2nd time, write it down and report it to the helpdesk.
